Please read the waiver carefully:

Soccer is a sport, which challenges and engages the physical, mental and emotional resources of each participant. Understandably, not all hazards and dangers can be foreseen. Because soccer is a contact sport played with little or no equipment and because it puts great demands on stamina, the very nature of the game of soccer is hazardous and risky. Such risks and dangers include but are not limited to the acts of kicking, heading and fielding the ball, colliding with other players or stationary objects, being struck by errant balls, running, jumping, stretching, sliding, diving, acts of God, inclement weather, poor officiating, inadequate or defective equipment, failure in supervision or instruction, unsportsman like conduct by players and spectators, dangerous or defective playing conditions such as rocks or holes on or off the playing field, incorrect footwear in poor weather conditions, horseplay, carelessness, and all other circumstances inherent to the sport of soccer. In this regard, it must be recognized that it is impossible for the IRVINE CUP, LICENSORS, SPONSORS AND EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE to guarantee absolute safety.

WAIVER AND RELEASE OF ALL CLAIMS AND ASSUMPTIONS OF RISK
Please be aware that in signing up and participating in the IRVINE CUP soccer tournament, you will be expressly assuming the risk and legal liability and waiving and releasing all claims for injuries, damages or loss which you might sustain as a result of participating in any and all activities connected with and associated with this IRVINE CUP soccer program (including transportation services, when provided by IRVINE CUP COMMITTEE MEMBERS or others).

I recognize and acknowledge that there are certain risks of physical injury including permanent paralysis and death to participants in this soccer tournament, and I voluntarily agree to assume the full risk of any injuries, damages or loss, regardless of severity I may sustain as a result of participating in any and all activities connected with or associated with this soccer program. I further agree to waive and relinquish all claims I may have (or accrue to me or my child/ward), as a result of participating in this soccer tournament, against the IRVINE CUP, LICENSORS, SPONSORS AND EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE, including its officials, directors, agents, volunteers and employees (hereinafter collectively referred as Parties.

I KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, both known and unknown.

I do hereby fully waive, release and forever discharge the Parties from any and all claims for injuries, damages or loss that I may have or which may accrue to me arising from or connected with, or in any way associated with the IRVINE CUP SOCCER tournament.

I also acknowledge that the Irvine Cup Executive Committee does not provide health insurance for this event.  By signing below I agree that I will provide any necessary health insurance for myself or pay my own medical expenses should it be necessary.

I have read and fully understand the above important information, warning of risk, assumption of risk and waiver and release of all claims.
