About
IRVINE CUP
The Irvine Cup is a local Taekwondo tournament hosted by the Taekwondo at UCI club. The tournament aims to promote the competitive scene for collegiate and adult athletes, devoting all it's attention to support Senior and Ultra age division events. We welcome competitors of all skill levels, and encourage clubs, studios, and individuals from all backgrounds to show their abilities in competition. We believe in strong, community driven support of the sport, and extend a personal invitation to participate in the first ever Irvine Cup Taekwondo Tournament, which will be held at the Anteater Recreation Center, on Saturday, November 21, 2026.

Irvine Cup features world class sparring and sport poomsae competition for all belts, giving competitors at all skill levels the chance to experience a high quality competitive event. Registration is a flat $100 for participation in any number of events, and general admission is free to all visitors. Medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in all events, as well as merch, gear, and other prizes for select winners!

Alongside individual competition and registration, we also encourage clubs and dojangs to register as schools, as we tally all medals won in the tournament under schools, and award the highest scoring school the "Irvine Cup".
